<br />
They had two weeks to do all the reseach on the project and I gave them the instructions in the following presentation:<br />
<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vRwJT-rgyBkwNONraSQVI-AuciNbwlmg49-voBGha9ffpJxsUVNuE00-aJmuJ9Ml_Cv3E2_jG7Wn_dY/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=5000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe><br />
<br />
Here are three examples of the presentations my students created:<br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<b style="background-color: lime;"><span style="font-size: large;">Introducción de ideas</span></b><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>First</b> (primero). Ejemplo: <i><span style="color: blue;">Making an omelette is very easy. First, beat the eggs in a bowl...
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Firstly</b> (primeramente)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>First of all</b> (primero de todo)</span></li>
</ul>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhooFeuPUrS2zuAE13k2VAAJ950EC_ASiislyPPET2UFdVLcntuiEigVgWPVw1w9_qZbjhbcBLfTxCaxDdQimmT1r6hPn0Y1dm-IpgYUO8_uvYJvQJCvonW4Ajxbm73ACFDiGSZP0HzZzoL/s1600/beating+eggs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="278" data-original-width="300" height="296" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhooFeuPUrS2zuAE13k2VAAJ950EC_ASiislyPPET2UFdVLcntuiEigVgWPVw1w9_qZbjhbcBLfTxCaxDdQimmT1r6hPn0Y1dm-IpgYUO8_uvYJvQJCvonW4Ajxbm73ACFDiGSZP0HzZzoL/s320/beating+eggs.jpg" width="320" /></a></td></tr>

<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="background-color: orange; font-size: large;"><b>Secuenciación</b></span><br />
<br />
<ul>
Ejemplos: <i><span style="color: blue;"><u>Before</u> going out, we should do our homework.// If you want to go out, do your homework <u>before</u>.</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>As soon as</b> (tan pronto como): <i><span style="color: blue;">As soon as she saw him, she started to cry.</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>The moment</b> (en cuanto): <i><span style="color: blue;">The moment I closed my eyes, I fell asleep.</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>When</b> (cuando)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>As</b> (conforme, cuando)</span></li>
Ejemplos: <span style="color: blue;"><i>After cleaning the house, she left for the office. Yesterday, we went out after dinner.</i></span> El siguiente ejemplo sería incorrecto: <span style="color: red;"><i>*We had dinner and after we went out</i></span>. En lugar de <b>after</b>, en este ejemplo podemos usar <b><i>afterwards, then, later,</i></b>... La frase quedaría así correcta: <i><span style="color: blue;">We had dinner and then we went out.</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Afterwards </b>(después)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Then</b> (luego)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Later</b> (más tarde)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Next</b> (a continuación) Estos cuatro últimos conectores son muy similares. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Suddenly</b> (de repente): <i><span style="color: blue;">Suddenly, she looked ten years older. (De repente, parecía diez años mayor)</span></i></span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b style="background-color: cyan;">Finalización</b></span><br />
<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Finally </b>(finalmente)</span></li>
Ejemplo: <i><span style="color: blue;">Eventually, the plane took off with a delay of six hours (finalmente salió el avión con un retraso de seis horas)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>In the end</b> (al final)</span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b style="background-color: magenta;">Simultaneidad</b></span></div>
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>While </b>(mientras): se usa para aciones simultáneas. Ejemplo: <i><span style="color: blue;">He was reading the paper while I was eating breakfast. (El leía el periódico mientras yo desayunaba)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Meanwhile</b> (mientras tanto): <i><span style="color: blue;">The parents were enjoying themselves at the party. Meanwhile, the children were at home making a mess of the kitchen.
</ul>

<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Would you like a drink with your meal, sir?</b> (¿Quiere tomar algo con la comida?) La expresión "Would you like" se usa para preguntar amablemente lo que alguien quiere. No sería correcto decir: "What do you want?", pues es una expresión muy brusca.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Can I see the wine list, please?</b> (¿Puedo ver la carta de vinos, por favor?)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>I can recommend...</b> (Le puedo recomendar...)</span></li>

<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Are you ready for me to take your order?</b> (¿Le tomo nota ya?</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>I'll have...</b> (Tomaré...)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>How would you like it cooked?</b> (¿Cómo lo quiere?)
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Well done</b> (muy hecho)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Medium</b> (normal)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Rare</b> (poco hecho)</span></li>
</ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Is everything OK, sir?</b> (Está todo bien, señor?)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Would you like some dessert?</b> (¿Quiere algo de postre?</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Can I get you anything else?</b> (¿Puedo traerle algo más?)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Could I have the bill, please?</b> (¿Puede traer la cuenta, por favor?)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Would you like to pay now or shall I charge it to your room?</b> (¿Quiere pagar o se lo cargo a su habitación?)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>I'd rather pay now, please</b>. (Preferiría pagar ahora)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Is service included?</b> (¿Está incluido el servicio?)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Yes, It includes tax and service</b>. ( Sí, incluye impuestos y servicio)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>You can keep the change</b> (Quédese la vuelta)</span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<b style="background-color: yellow;">EJERCICIOS</b><br />

<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vRkUhFunY1Z8Oo_xcN0mKBXbl2gAdGi_Xd3x9zNCD7PrkT77ACvueaaB3L5vMohkaQ30CaWBzHlp1pd/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe>
<br />
<br />
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dKY4t-cku34" width="560"></iframe>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<br />

<span style="color: blue; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><i>If you invite me, I will go to your birthday party. (Si me invitas, iré a tu fiesta de cumpleaños)</i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">La primera parte de la frase (I<i>f you invite me</i>) es una oración subordinada condicional y establece la condición para que se cumpla lo que dice la oración principal (<i>I will go to your birthday party</i>).</span><br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuykAAiuzj8qVm1mMrZj6i-MKQYx1935c-G2INfuJnLI4jv1d3zTDgTXIwx75EeuoPPeVx8jvivouUw3hA59RU362hmoCiEFcYpcNfjPXWOJh-EfYaCa6supcWStnVMDU47EpX4VCRA6pP/s1600/adult-birthday-party.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuykAAiuzj8qVm1mMrZj6i-MKQYx1935c-G2INfuJnLI4jv1d3zTDgTXIwx75EeuoPPeVx8jvivouUw3hA59RU362hmoCiEFcYpcNfjPXWOJh-EfYaCa6supcWStnVMDU47EpX4VCRA6pP/s400/adult-birthday-party.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">If you invite me, I will go to your birthday party<br />
<a href="http://www.blackjacknights.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/adult-birthday-party.jpg" target="_blank">Imagen</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
Así, nuestro ejemplo se puede expresar sin cambio de significado también así: <i><span style="color: blue;">I will go to your birthday party if you invite me.</span></i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: orange; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">TIPOS DE CONDICIONALES</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: lime; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Tipo 1: condicionales reales</span><br />
Ejemplo:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><i>If it rains, I won't go out</i></span>. (<i>Si llueve no saldré</i>)</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><b>If presente, will+ infinitivo</b></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><b><br /></b></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><span style="color: black;">En el tipo 1 de oraciones condicionales podemos usar también el nexo <b>unless</b>, que significa "a menos que" y equivale a <b>if not</b>. Ejemplo:</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><span style="color: blue;"><i>I will take the job unless the pay is too low.</i></span><span style="color: black;"> <i>(Aceptaré el trabajo a menos que el sueldo sea demasiado bajo)</i></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><span style="color: black;">También se podría expresar: </span><span style="color: blue;"><i>I will take the job if the pay isn't too low.</i></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><span style="color: blue;"><i><br /></i></span></span></span></div>
</div>
<span style="background-color: yellow; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Tipo 2: condicionales hipotéticas o irreales</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Ejemplo: </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><i>If I won the lottery, I would buy a Ferrari</i></span>. (<i>Si ganara la lotería, me compraría un Ferrari</i>). </span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><b>If pasado, would + infinitivo</b></span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: purple;"><b><br /></b></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">En este grupo se encuentran también las oraciones del tipo: S<b>i yo fuera tú... / Yo en tu lugar...</b> Ejemplo:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><i>If I were you, I would study harder</i></span>. <i>(Yo de ti, estudiaría más)</i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Con el verbo <b>to be</b> se debe usar la forma <b>were</b> para todas las personas: <i><span style="color: blue;">If he were here, he would take you out tonight</span></i> <i>(Si él estuviera aquí, te sacaría esta noche)</i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Sin embargo, en el lenguaje coloquial se usa mucho <b>was</b> en lugar de <b>were</b> para la 1ª y 3ª personas del singular (I was/ he was / she was / it was)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">En la siguiente canción de Beyoncé podemos oir la expresión <b>If I were...</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Et6QNcptkTY?rel=0" width="560"></iframe>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">En cambio, en la siguiente canción de Eighth Wonder, "I'm not scared", podemos escuchar <b>If I was you</b>:</span><br />

De compras<span style="background-color: yellow; font-size: large;">SHOPS. (TIENDAS)</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><span style="font-size: large;">Hay dos palabras para decir "tienda":</span><br />
<br />
<ul>
</span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1cV_q_e7fj0CvCvEGb-xnRLIL5mET5qe4i3UdKkqCiiQ/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe><br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: orange; font-size: large;">VERBS (VERBOS)</span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Order</b> something <i><span style="color: blue;">(pedir algo)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Ask for</b> something <i><span style="color: blue;">(pedir algo)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Pay for</b> something<i><span style="color: blue;"> (pagar algo)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Shop around</b> <i><span style="color: blue;">(mirar en otras tiendas y comparar)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Go shopping</b> <i><span style="color: blue;">(ir de compras)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Shop online</b> <i><span style="color: blue;">(comprar por internet)</span></i></span></li>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>How much is it?</b> y <b>how much are they?</b> se usan para preguntar por el precio.

<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">Con nuestras propias palabras, adaptándolo.</span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg09hEhNs5C1OPCRz6SQl2NRbqDmVpcRhaptBTzhtZnYKqmTT_MhTCMPiwrd6SCIKnZUlqoGFpGmThLQMRXWhKjso4WNqEkciroaJ8AEtSyf09tX4teXGTGEoYhsWy20TC8rANJDF8zOgxw/s1600/Bart+on+the+phone2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg09hEhNs5C1OPCRz6SQl2NRbqDmVpcRhaptBTzhtZnYKqmTT_MhTCMPiwrd6SCIKnZUlqoGFpGmThLQMRXWhKjso4WNqEkciroaJ8AEtSyf09tX4teXGTGEoYhsWy20TC8rANJDF8zOgxw/s400/Bart+on+the+phone2.jpg" width="248" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: large;"><i><span style="color: blue;">"I don't like it here. I want to go home tomorrow" ("No me gusta estar aquí. Quiero irme a casa mañana)</span></i>. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><i>Bart said that <u>he</u> <u>didn't</u> like it <u>there</u> and <u>he</u> <u>wanted</u> to <u>come</u> home <u>the following day.
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">El <span style="color: magenta;">verbo "go"</span> (ir) ha cambiado a "come" (venir).</span></li>
</ul>

<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Say something to someone</b> (decir algo a alguien)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Tell someone something</b> (decir a alguien algo)</span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: red; font-size: large;">was /were +V-ing</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><i>What <u>were you doing</u> this morning at 8 o'clock? </i></span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><i>(¿Qué <u>hacías</u> esta mañana a las 8? / ¿Qué <u>estabas haciendo</u> esta mañana a las 8?)</i></span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><i>I <u>was having</u> breakfast.</i></span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><i>(Desayunaba / <u>Estaba desayunando</u>)</i></span><br />

<span style="background-color: orange; font-size: large;"><b>FORMAS</b></span><br />
<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1-VNGpqOAV4R-PARCiJiXGNzCH64jo8GFaAKHIDeadgE/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe>
<br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: lime; font-size: large;"><b>USOS</b></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<ul>
Ejemplo: <span style="color: blue;"><i>This time last month I was enjoying my holiday in the Caribbean (El mes pasado a esta hora estaba disfrutando de mis vacaciones en el Caribe)</i></span>.</span></li>
Ejemplo: <i><span style="color: blue;">The phone rang when I was having a shower this morning.
My mum was cooking dinner while I was washing the dishes.

<br />
<b style="background-color: orange;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">DO</span></b><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>Do</b> se usa para actividades, asignaturas, deportes o trabajos: <i><span style="color: blue;">do the homework (hacer los deberes) / do English (estudiar inglés) / do sport (hacer deporte) / do your job (hacer tu trabajo)</span></i>...</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Siempre usamos <b>do</b> cuando va seguido de <b>something, anything, nothing, everything</b>: <i><span style="color: blue;">Let's do something. I'm bored (Hagamos algo. Estoy aburrida)</span></i></span></li>
</ul>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<b style="background-color: cyan;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">MAKE</span></b><br />
<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>Make</b> tiene el sentido de "crear", "elaborar"o "fabricar" generalmente: <i><span style="color: blue;">make a noise (hacer ruido) / make plans (hacer planes) / make an excuse (dar una excusa) / make a mistake (cometer un error) / make a cake (hacr un pastel)</span></i>... Pero no siempre da el sentido de fabricar: <span style="color: blue;"><i>make money (hacer o ganar dinero), make a living (ganarse la vida), make the bed ( hacer la cama), make a suggestion (hacer una sugerencia), make friends (hacer amigos)</i></span>...</span></li>
</ul>
<br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Hay una expresión en la que se usan los dos verbos juntos: <b>make do</b>, que significa "apañárselas": <span style="color: blue;"><i>We'll have to make do with 20 euros. That's all we've got!

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: orange;"><b>Must</b> expresa obligación</span>.
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Ejemplos:</span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i>I must study tonight. I've got an exam tomorrow. (Tengo que estudiar esta noche. Tengo un examen mañana)</i></span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i>We must go now. (Tenemos que irnos ya)</i></span><br />

</tbody></table>
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: magenta;"><b>Have to</b> también expresa obligación</span>.
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i>I must call my brother. I haven't talked to him for ages. (Debo llamar a mi hermano.
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

</tbody></table>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b>Have to</b> no es un verbo modal, sino semi-modal, ya que no tiene todas las características de los modales:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span><br />
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Tiene una forma diferente en tercera persona: <span style="color: blue;"><i>She has to work tomorrow.</i></span></span></li>
She had to work</span></i> (pasado) <span style="color: blue;"><i>I will have to work tomorrow</i></span> (futuro), etc.</span></li>
I didn't have to work yesterday. Did you have to work? Do you have to work?</span></i> </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">También se puede usar con otros verbos modales: <span style="color: blue;"><i>I might have to work tomorrow (Es posible que tenga que trabajar mañana)</i></span></span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">En cambio <b>must</b> es un modal puro.</span></div>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: red;"><b>Mustn't</b> expresa prohibición</span>. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Ejemplos: </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i><span style="color: blue;">You mustn't smoke in public places. (No debes fumar en lugares públicos)</span></i></span></div>

<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: lime;"><b>Don't have to</b> expresa ausencia de obligación.</span></span></div>
<div>

Así, nos quedaría : <i><span style="color: blue;"><b>English is spoken all over the world</b></span></i>.</span><br />

<div>
<ul>
</ul>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">To be + Participio</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Veamos algunos ejemplos:</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>presente simple</b>: <span style="color: blue;">speak</span> => <span style="color: magenta;">is / are spoken</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>pasado simple</b>: <span style="color: blue;">spoke</span> => <span style="color: magenta;">was / were spoken</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>futuro simple</b>: <span style="color: blue;">will speak</span> =><span style="color: magenta;">will be spoken</span></span><br />
<div>
<ul>
</span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;">My mother made <u>a cake</u></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><u>A cake</u> was made by my mother</span></div>
<ul>
</ul>
<span style="font-size: large;"> <span style="color: blue;"><u>Cervantes</u> wrote "El Quijote". </span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;">"El Quijote" was written <u>by Cervantes</u>.</span> </span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<div>
<b style="background-color: yellow;"><span style="font-size: large;">¿Cuándo se usa la pasiva en inglés?</span></b></div>
<div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><i>Someone stole my bike</i></span>, es mejor decirlo en pasiva: <i><span style="color: blue;">My bike was stolen</span></i>, ya que desconocemos quién lo hizo.</span></div>
<div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5_DKwigdWJITOqE9m3oKR4nJitVi8wFfFXuskzDAVwcCjGSUO0TmhUD5258uhSQ_nubwqGdfwvVZJXyTXfwrOLyjdW9Pr_yLR0Rqgpw4YxZBs4780d6I8qU2IWM7J2mU7gfrBOpfcyTEo/s1600/headline.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="147" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5_DKwigdWJITOqE9m3oKR4nJitVi8wFfFXuskzDAVwcCjGSUO0TmhUD5258uhSQ_nubwqGdfwvVZJXyTXfwrOLyjdW9Pr_yLR0Rqgpw4YxZBs4780d6I8qU2IWM7J2mU7gfrBOpfcyTEo/s400/headline.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">A baby was stolen at hospital<br />
<a href="http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/02/article-2334802-1A1D3B04000005DC-679_634x234.jpg" target="_blank">Image</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<div>
</span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><i>I have a house.</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: red; font-size: large;"><i>*A house is had by me.</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;">The nurse looks after <u>the children</u>.</span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><u>The children</u> are looked after by the nurse.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;">They sent <u>me</u> <u>an e-mail</u>.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><u>An e-mail</u> was sent to me.</span> (date cuenta de que el complemento indirecto en la pasiva aparece precedido de la preposición <b>to</b>)</span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><u>I</u> was sent an e-mail.</span><br />
<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>

<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Su aspecto físico: <b>What does he/she look like?</b></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Su carácter, personalidad o forma de ser: <b>What is he/she like?</b></span></li>
</ul>
</div>
<br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Muchos adjetivos forman su opuesto añadiendo prefijos negativos como:</span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>in- / im- / il- / ir-</b>: <i><span style="color: blue;">indecent, immature, impatient, impolite, irresponsible</span></i>...</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>un-</b>: <i><span style="color: blue;">unkind, unreliable, untidy, unfriendly, unhappy, unpleasant,...</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>dis-</b>: <i><span style="color: blue;">dishonest, disobedient,...</span></i></span></li>
</ul>

<li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>Sensible</b> se traduce como "sensato", que tiene sentido común: <i><span style="color: blue;">She was a sensible girl and did not panic when she saw the snake. <li><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"><b>Sensitive</b> se traduce como "sensible": <span style="color: blue;"><i>She's very sensitive and cries a lot.

Por ejemplo, la palabra <b>people</b> (gente) en inglés es contable pero en español <b>gente</b> es incontable: <span style="color: blue;">"<i>two people"</i> </span> <span style="color: red;"><i>*Dos gentes</i></span>.</span><br />

<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b style="background-color: purple;"><span style="color: #f3f3f3;">Go</span></b>: se usa con deportes y actividades que terminan en <b>-ing</b>: <i><span style="color: blue;">swimming (nadar), skiing (esquiar), sailing (navegar)</span></i>.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: red;"><b><span style="color: #eeeeee;">Do</span></b></span>: para deportes individuales, no de equipo: <i><span style="color: blue;">yoga, judo, karate</span></i></span></li>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: orange; color: white; font-size: large;"><b>SUBJECT + HAVE/ HAS + PAST PARTICIPLE</b></span><br />
<span style="background-color: orange; color: white; font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<span style="background-color: #6aa84f; font-size: large;">Ejemplos:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><i><span style="color: blue;">I have lived in Spain all my life</span> (He vivido en España toda mi vida)</i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><i><span style="color: blue;">He has worked in this school for two years</span>.

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: cyan; font-size: large;">Usos</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"></span></div>
<div>
<ul>
I have worked here since 2010</span></i>.
We have met twice so far this week</span></i>. (Nos hemos visto dos veces esta semana hasta ahora) A veces ese tiempo aún no acabado es una vida, por lo que se trataría de experiencias vitales: <span style="color: blue;"><i>I have never climbed a mountain</i></span> (Nunca he subido a una montaña) Se sobreentiende que es "hasta ahora en mi vida"</span></li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Expresar acciones que ocurrieron en el pasado pero cuyo resultado es importante en el presente: <span style="color: blue;"><i>I have lost my keys. I can't get into my house </i></span>(He perdido mis llaves. Compara esta frase con otra en pasado: <span style="color: blue;"><i>I lost my keys but I have already found them</i></span>.
</ul>

<div>
<ul>
</ul>
<div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">En la siguiente presentación vamos a aprender cómo formar el <b>comparativo de superioridad</b> en inglés:</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="389" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1hZQ9VPMxMqls0CD1dwZ3mJzlwYPv1NB_T62jOvaSJHQ/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe><br />
<br />
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i>Pedro es menos alto que Luis: Pedro is less tall than Luis.</i></span></li>

</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">En cuanto al comparativo de igualdad, se forma con </span><b style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;">as...as...:</b></div>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li><i><span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Pedro es tan alto como Luis: Pedro is as tall as Luis.</span></i></li>

</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">También podemos hacer frases negativas con el comparativo de igualdad, en cuyo caso podemos utilizar: <b>not as...as...</b> o también <b>not so...as...</b></span></div>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li><i><span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Pedro no es tan alto como Luis: Pedro is not so/as tall as Luis.</span></i></li>

The weather.
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
What's the weather like?</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<b><span style="color: blue; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">What... like? ==> ¿Cómo ...?</span></b><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Siempre que digamos qué tiempo hace debemos usar el sujeto <b>it</b>:</span><br />
<i><span style="color: blue; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">It's sunny (hace sol)</span></i><br />
<i><span style="color: blue; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">It's cloudy (Está nublado)</span></i><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">El esquema sería:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<b><span style="color: blue; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">It + is + adjetivo</span></b><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">¡Cuidado! No podemos usar sustantivos. Así:<i><span style="color: red;"> *It's sun. *It's cloud</span></i>. Serían frases incorrectas.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>

Si queremos decir "una prenda de ropa", debemos decir <b>an item of clothing</b>.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>

<br />
<i><span style="color: blue; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">She is wearing a new pair of jeans.</span></i><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><span style="color: red; font-style: italic;">* She is wearing a new jeans. </span>(Esta forma es incorrecta)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">También podemos usar el sustantivo en plural, sin artículo:</span><br />
<i><span style="color: blue; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">She is wearing new jeans</span></i><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><span style="color: blue;">WILL</span></b></div>
Ejemplo: <br /><br /><i><span style="color: blue;">I will go to Málaga tomorrow. (Iré a Málaga mañana)</span></i><br /><br />Este verbo no cambia en la 3ª persona de singular, es decir, se usa <b>will</b> para todas las personas:<br /><br /><i><span style="color: blue;">He will come tomorrow (Él vendrá mañana)</span></i><br /><br />Se contrae con los pronombres: <b>will--> 'll</b><br /><br /><b style="background-color: cyan;">Forma negativa</b><br /><br />La forma negativa se forma añadiendo la partícula <b>not</b>, que también podemos contraer con el verbo <b>will (won't)</b>, siendo esta forma la más habitual. Ejemplo:<br /><br /><i><span style="color: blue;">Peter will not help you = Peter won't help you. (Peter no te ayudará)</span></i><br /><br /><span style="background-color: orange;"><b>Forma interrogativa</b></span><br /><br />Las oraciones interrogativas se hacen anteponiendo el verbo <b>will</b> al sujeto de la oración:<br /><br /><i><span style="color: blue;">Will you come tomorrow? (¿Vendrás mañana?)</span></i></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b><span style="color: red;">GOING TO</span></b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">
Esta expresión siempre va precedida del verbo <b>to be</b> y seguida de otro verbo en infininitivo:<br /><br /><b><span style="color: purple;">am / is / are + going to + infininive</span></b><br /><br /><b style="background-color: cyan;">Forma negativa</b><br /><br />Para la negación, se suele contraer el verbo <b>to be</b> con <b>not</b>:<br /><i><span style="color: blue;">I am not going to study tonight. (No voy a estudiar esta noche)</span></i><br /><br /><i><span style="color: blue;"> You aren't going to play football today. (No vas a jugar al fútbol hoy)<br /><br /> Paul isn't going to go out tonight. (Paul no va a salir esta noche)</span></i><br /><br /><b style="background-color: orange;">Forma interrogativa</b><br /><br />Para hacer preguntas se coloca el verbo <b>to be</b> delante del sujeto.<br /><br />Ejemplo: <i><span style="color: blue;">Are you going to study tonight? (¿Vas a estudiar esta noche?)</span></i></span><br />
<div style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
</div>
<br />
<span style="background-color: purple; color: white; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b>¿Will o going to?</b></span><br />
<span style="background-color: purple; color: white; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Para saber cuándo usar una forma de futuro u otra, mira esta presentación:</span><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>

Parts of the body and ailments.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaMZYFP956DyG75qN91Fm-XgxKbzhym-IeCEXQifqkIP0DxK-VywIQOiaHlx5hhV-ExL3eYeZrqLgWQTXLP5OeUHnHICzJDEVTrV_KwysZEIIaeJbvy6kzNBrzgUJCrxW2yMclUZnBNfhV/s1600/parts+of+the+body.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaMZYFP956DyG75qN91Fm-XgxKbzhym-IeCEXQifqkIP0DxK-VywIQOiaHlx5hhV-ExL3eYeZrqLgWQTXLP5OeUHnHICzJDEVTrV_KwysZEIIaeJbvy6kzNBrzgUJCrxW2yMclUZnBNfhV/s1600/parts+of+the+body.gif" height="458" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Vamos a ver si puedes recordarlas.
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1_uVwygWVf4tQ_OCHDIWZRYmJW6AclHvi9eA1Ycxa0yM/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Algunas partes del cuerpo <span style="background-color: orange;"><b>forman el plural de forma irregular</b></span>:</span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">Un pie: a <b>foot</b>. Dos pies: two <b>feet</b></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">Un diente: a <b>tooth</b>. Varios dientes: several <b>teeth</b></span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

</tbody></table>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Para hablar de <b style="background-color: magenta;">problemas de salud</b> podemos preguntar:</span></div>
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>What's wrong?</b> o <b>What's the matter?</b>: ¿Qué te pasa?</span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Si nos duele algo podemos usar:</span></div>
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">el verbo <b>hurt:</b> <i><span style="color: blue;">My finger hurts (me duele el dedo) </span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">el adjetivo <b>sore </b>(inflamado): <i><span style="color: blue;">I've got a sore throat (me duele la garganta)</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">el sustantivo <b>ache</b>:<i><span style="color: blue;"> I've got stomach ache (me duele el estómago)</span></i>.
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Otros problemas:</span></div>
<div>
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">I've got a cold (tengo un resfriado)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">I've got the flu (tengo la gripe)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;">I've got a rash (tengo sarpullido)</span></li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Por último, veamos algunas <b style="background-color: lime;">frases hechas (idioms)</b> que incluyen partes del cuerpo:</span><br />
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Give a hand</b> (echar una mano): <span style="color: blue;"><i>Will you give me a hand with my homework?</i></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Keep an eye on something</b> (echar un vistazo a algo): <i><span style="color: blue;">Keep an eye on the baby, please!</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Pull one's leg</b> ( gastar una broma): <i><span style="color: blue;">I'm pulling your leg. I'm not the teacher!!</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: large;"><b>To be all ears </b>(ser todo oídos): <span style="color: blue;"><i>Come on, tell me what happened at the party. I'm all ears!</i></span></span></li>

The past simple.
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b style="background-color: orange;">Regulares</b>: verbos que forman el pasado añadiendo el sufijo <b>-ed</b>. Ej.: <span style="color: blue;"><i>want => wanted</i></span></span></div>
<div>
Ej.: <i><span style="color: blue;">break => broke</span></i>.</span></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Veamos en primer lugar el pasado de los <span style="background-color: orange;"><b>verbos regulares</b></span>:</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Al añadir el sufijo <b>-ed</b>, debemos seguir las normas de ortografía ya conocidas:</span><br />
<div>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Los verbos terminados en<b> -e</b> sólo añaden una <b>-d</b>: <span style="color: blue;"><i>live => lived</i></span></span></li>
Ejemplos:</span></li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"> <span style="color: blue;"><i>play => played</i></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i> try => tried</i></span></div>
<div>
<ul>
Ejemplos:</span></li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"> <span style="color: blue;"><i>stop => stopped</i></span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Así, el verbo <b>Break</b> (romper) (infinitivo), <b>broke</b> (rompí) (pasado), <b>broken</b> (roto) (participio)</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Para construir las formas negativas e interrogativas, se necesita el verbo auxiliar <b>did</b>, que es el pasado de <b>do</b>.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>

To be: past simple.

</span><br />
